Johnson Child Care Center Inc. began with the owner Elaine and David Johnson in 1989. Mrs. Elaine was at a stay at home mom after having her second child and was very interested in providing the best possible care for her children. Shortly after she created a school atmosphere for her youngest daughter, close friends and neighbors became interested in having her educate their children as well. In order to make her passion a business, she applied for her child care license through the Department of Public Welfare (DPW) and opened her family daycare in her home in 1989 called Elaine R. Johnson Daycare. With the increased demand for quality care, Mrs. Elaine purchased the house next door to her family center and opened a group daycare in 1993. For 9 years Elaine R. Johnson daycare provided high quality care program services for several aged children such as infants, toddlers, preschool, before and after school and summer camp children.

Ever since then, Johnson Child Care has been the staple of Quality Child Care within the Philadelphia area. We strive for nothing less than the best for your children.
